Finally Beat It!

After playing this game religiously I finally beat it getting all 1001 light seeds. It was a great experience. The final Boss battle was pretty epic even though the camera was kind of annoying. The ending was bittersweet though as all your efforts are undone in the end. Oh well hopefully things will get cleared up in the epilogue and if not thats what the next game is for!

Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Well Kojima shocked me and the world by announcing Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the Xbox 360. Seeing as I have a 360 I'm not too concerned but there's probably a lot of pissed off PS3 owners who are crossing there fingers that its not 360 exclusive. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed too.

Ico so far...

So I've gotten to the second save point in Ico. So far its nothing like anything I've played before. There's no HUD and no life bar. It sort of plays like Prince of Persia stripped down to its bare bones. The mission I'm assuming is getting out of the castle. Which seems like its going to be a lot of fun/hassle. Yorda isn't as irritating as you would think. The only time shes really in the way is when the shadows try to take her away other than that she really and extension of Ico. Press R1 and you'll hold hands with her and she'll follow you where ever you go. While not as epic as Shadow of Colossus I'm thoroughly enjoying this game.

Metal Gear Next Teaser Site Reactions

So I've been keeping up with this teaser site in my spare time and with each update it gets more and more confusing. First we see a picture of Big Boss or a Big Boss lookalike or a Big Boss clone. Who knows at this point. I think its the real Big Boss seeing how hes wearing a hat that says militares sans frontieres (military without borders). This to me is Big Boss when he founded Outer Heaven. So I figured maybe they're remaking Metal Gear which would be cool or making a game based around founding Outer Heaven and it would play like Portable Ops. Then I get shitted on when the next update brings a picture of Cyborg Raiden. Which confuses the fuck out of me. What does cyborg raiden have to do with Big Boss. By the time they encountered each other Big Boss was a limbless vegetable. I feel like Kojima is repeatedly kicking me in the head. NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE!

Koolaid Break!

Just had a koolaid break with my good friend Kristen Ward. It was a great time. We reminisced about koolaid in our childhood. We hung out in my living room. The first time i've ever hung out there without the projector present. I'm looking forward to the next time. Also check out her blog at kristenward.net/blog.
